Custom Wire Hangers: How-To!

Have you ever wondered how those sellers on etsy make those cool looking wire hangers with your name on them? (Link)

I did! So much so that I had to buy some supplies and give it a go! Since doing that, I've had a lot of people (brides-to-be) asking me how to make them. Well, here is how!

YouTube Channel

Hello All!

I have recently been revived and inspired, craft-wise, by a lot of the brides I talk to on Instagram and The Knot911. To help my fellow brides and crafty folks, I have made a YouTube channel that focuses on DIY projects! :)

Inspirational Works

You know, for a design blog, this looks like it's lacking a lot of design to it. I'm actually kind of embarrassed. lol.

Anyway, the point of this blog is NOT to talk about how I use an ugly template, it's to show some works that I'm really digging right now. Typically I show these on my dA page but I'm trying to branch out a bit. lol.

So, here they are, in no particular order (except by category..lol):

Digital and Traditional Paintings
I have a deep love for traditional art but that doesn't mean digital art isn't equally awesome! Here are some examples!

Portfolio Updates

Hello All (or none)!
I've been kinda lazy keeping up on this blog. I think it's mainly because I keep more up-to-date info on my deviantART journal but I'm still holding on to this as well. I thought I would post a few projects I've done for my job. I don't post work projects on my deviantART account but you can see those as well as my personal stuff in my portfolio: http://rlhcreations.daportfolio.com/

Just a little background info my 9-5: At work I specialize in print advertisements of all kinds. I mainly work on box art/box labels for products (you can see these in your local office supply stores), flyers, brochures, hang tags (also seen in local office supply stores) and presentations. Here is a little taste of that:

Flyers & Ads

(These are from work and freelance jobs)

Hopefully you enjoyed! To see more work check out my portfolio or for personal projects you can add me to your watch on deviantART (http://rlhcreations.deviantart.com/)!

Music and Art

I never believed my teachers when they said that classical music was good for you. I sure do believe them now! Lately, I've been in a bit of a rut music-wise and that tends to affect my artist vibe quite a bit. My fiance suggested I listen to some classical music and so I downloaded the Fantasia soundtrack (I love the movie but only have it on VHS) as well as looked up some of my faves on youtube. Right now, Moonlight Sonata is transforming my mind! It's always been a fave of mine but I never realized how helpful it could actually be until now!

Since my rut has been ongoing, I only have a few projects to add on from my last post. I'm currently working on a vector right now. I hope to make some good progress on it this weekend.

As you can see, I've been messing around with different styles. Trying to see what I like. So far I like them all but not quite enough. I still love my Avatar vector the most.

Anyway, that's enough for now.
